Little Monks: Thunkable App Workshop for 5th – 8th grade students

DATE + TIME: Saturday, April 27th / Sunday, April 28th at 2 – 3 PM

LOCATION: iCode Bellevue 1415 158th Pl NE, Bellevue, WA 98008

DISCOVER: We invite 5th – 8th grade students from the Greater Seattle area to learn the fundamentals of app development at this FREE 1-hour workshop! Students will discover how to build mobile apps using Thunkable, a popular code-free app development platform that anyone can use to create their own apps.

This is a great opportunity to introduce your child to an exciting career path, and empower their creativity through computer science!

We will provide kid-friendly snacks and drinks, and junior app developers will take home their own swag bags along with the app they created during the workshop.

There are only 10 spaces available each day, so be sure to register early to guarantee your spot.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Learn all about how apps work and why they’re important.

  • Explore the Thunkable platform with guided instruction.

  • Build your very own app to take home and continue developing.
